I bought this as a birthday present for myself and it’s been 10 days since I’ve been using this band. I am in absolute love with this product. I don’t often write amazon reviews but this band compelled me to. For me this was an upgrade over mi band 5 and I was debating between mi band 8 and this and I am glad I chose this.Of the bat, great hardware. Beautiful display. Great battery life and really good UI. For my needs to track walks, runs and workouts, and sleep it’s perfect. The health app though is next level. It is frustrating because the app is not available on playstore and you have to download it from their website. However once you do the app is absolutely filled with amazing features and functionality where all around holistic fitness reports at multiple levels. The whole experience of managing improvements feels so much more robust, refined and rewarding.10/10 would recommend.

I cannot comment on the watch itself as I never got past the set up. I have returned the watch, and I am so glad I purchased it through Amazon with easy returns. I bought it because it seemed perfect feature wise and had good reviews. I mostly wanted the nighttime O2 monitoring. When I downloaded the Huawei application on my phone the trouble started. I’m running Android on my Samsung XCoverPro. During the set up, you must create a Huawei account which makes sense. But when I clicked on create account, the app opens a create account page for what turned out to be a third party that sells media content. But it’s a create free account page so at first I didn’t realize what was happening. Further, even though it says the account is free, unless you scroll down to unclick the premium choice, it in fact will charge your credit card $55 up front and $5/month until you unsubscribe. Thank goodness my credit card company declined the transaction as potential fraud and forced me to look more closely into what was happening. When I tried again, I did see the tiny print of advertisement on the create account page, but no matter what I did, I could not bypass the advertisement to get to the actual page to create a Huawei account. I ever tried to create an account on their webpage outside the app, but I couldn’t. There was no way for me to get past this scam company so I have returned the watch. There is a ton of positive feedback on the watch, so perhaps it’s a quirk of my Samsung/Android set up that didn’t let me bypass the advertised scam company. My phone is only a year old, but not a common model. But be warned!!!!! IF my credit card company hadn’t decline, I was going to be charged $55 and be signed up for a monthly plan without realizing it. I never expected a scam like this during the set up of a legitimate product. If you buy this, be very careful during set up and account creation. My credit card company contacted me and on their advice, I have cancelled that card and will get a new one. I’m very sorry I couldn’t use the watch, it looked perfect for what I wanted, but I have never had this happen to me with set up before. I will never go near Huawei again!!!!! I guess I’ll try the Fitbit or Garmin for my needs.

The device is great. Works perfectly and the sleep tracking is really good. I will say this though, donât scan the barcode as it goes to a phishing website. Just search for the health app in the App Store, then connect your device. You canât use the device without the app, which sucks as that process is also terrible, it takes a long time to verify your phone number, and you canât continue without a verified phone number which is terrible imo. However after you go through the torture of setting up your account, the app and device are great. Itâs really easy to use and understand, and the app is well designed with a lot of data to comb through. Has a lot of nice features and for the price, and what you get Iâd recommend it. Just donât scan the barcode lol.

It’s been two days and I haven’t taken it off.The battery life is amazing, the accuracy of sleep, steps and bpm is great. It also tells you when to get up and move if you have been in one position too long.. it happened after I watched an entire movie.I can actually sleep with this on, it is so comfortable on the wrist. It’s not too big and not too small. The only con is that the band isn’t a true black. It’s more matte as well. But maybe this is what keeps it on the wrist better? My friend is also buying one now as well after seeing mine.I ordered a few watch enclosures as well for the face off Amazon since some of the reviews have stated it does get scratched. So for 15$ face and 100$ watch, I’m very happy.

I’ve been using the watch for about a week and it seems to be pretty accurate for most readings. The step count seems right, and so does the sleep count which I was surprised about. The C02 I’m not so sure about and I see there is an update for the watch but my Samsung S23 says I am not allowed to download the update due to it being from an unknown source. I couldn’t override my phone setting so hopefully the update will appear in the Play store apps site soon. Blood pressure portion of the app might not be as accurate as I hoped but all in all, I really like the watch. I also like that it reminds me to get up and move, and to drink water!
