   What is there not to like?
   First of all, I used to work for a major smartwatch company (which will remain nameless) writing manufacturing test software and running the data analytics team. Thus, I was very much involved in the device data set uploaded to the cloud and the creation of device diagnostics, usability, and user preference analytics for our marketing and engineering departments. From this point of view, I was very intimate with all the internal device components and how our devices were utilized by our users.I would have to say that this T-Rex3 watch blows away any of the smartwatches I have seen in my previous company at a reasonable price point. It even has more comprehensive feature set than I have seen on my Garmin Venu 2 which I use everyday for my workouts. I wore both the Venu 2 and T-Rex3 on a long hike and the health and workout numbers were very close. Been using this Venu 2 for 4 years now almost everyday and I consider this to be the gold standard for GPS accuracy.I cannot stress how much battery longevity is a high priority to me as I know many users do not want to charge their devices daily as people forget and it is a hassle. I personally make my smartwatch purchase decision starting with how long the battery will last. BTW, I also owned an Apple Watch in the past and I stopped using it as I would forget to charge it daily, rendering it useless to me.Pros – Excellent battery life, almost 2 weeks using the GPS daily every day for at least 1 hour in my workouts. I believe the battery can run longer without such heavy GPS usage. – Cost to own. You will not find a better, more comprehensive smartwatch at this price point. – I have proven its GPS and health feature set accuracy – I like that it can capture Beidou GPS signals as I travel to Asia frequently – Large high resolution color screen for my old eyes to see everything clearly – Comprehensive set of watch faces, some free but some you must purchase – Comfortable enough for me to wear 24/7 to enable me to collect sleep data – Most of the settings and features like notifications are pretty standard for today’s smartwatches – Durability of this device to meet military standards suggests it should last…time will tellCons – It is a large watch, but it fits me. 42mm is my ideal size, but some may find it too big. – Very functional design, not the prettiest, but also not the ugliest – Appeals primarily to men which locks out 50% of the market who wants this feature set – Zepp app is average at best. For instance, I cannot track the mileage on my running shoes like on the Garmin app. I still like the Garmin app better.

   Durable and bright
   I switched from an Apple Watch to the TRex. The main reason I wanted to switch was battery life. The Apple Watch at best could get 24-30 hours, but general use 24hrs was my average.I looked at the Garmin Fenix 8 but I really just didn’t want to pay that price. I watched review after review and felt the TRex was the right fit for my needs.Concerns before I purchased:- messaging- calls- no SpeakerI have had the device now for about 45 days.Durability – this is a solid watch. I have been doing a full kitchen gut and remodel. I have warn this watch the whole time and it looks like me. No scratches or evidence of any damage.Battery Life – I think confidently 18 days is consist. The first few days I was messing with the settings and looking it over a lot so battery was only 10 days after charging to 90%. I think you could get even more if I turned off notifications and brightness down.Navigation and menus – the OS is really smooth. Very fast to respond. I like the mix of buttons and touch screen. Especially when you have gloves on and suchInsights and Health – I think it is far more accurate on steps than my Apple Watch. I wore both watch’s on the same wrist for a full day and I never realized how many non steps my Apple Watch was picking up. I was sitting and typing at my desk. The Apple Watch picked up a nearly 100 phantom steps. The TRex picks up stress pretty well. It notices when I am thinking about a topic that is stressing me, like “is my flooring going to arrive in time?” Or “we only have x hours to complete this before the contractors are here!” Lots of good health habit reminders and such. I am looking forward to getting more use out of them once this project is over.Price, quality, and worry – when you have an expensive watch you worry about damage. It’s not to say I don’t worry about this watch, but when it’s 1/3 or 1/5 of the price of the other watches you looked at, it’s nice to be able to just enjoy it. Lots of compliments on its appearance and screen brightness. A lot of watch for the processThe gaps:I do have moments I wish I could do a voice reply to a text or quick reply, but Apple doesn’t allow that.No speaker is a kind of a bummer and I typically don’t pair my headphones to my watch, but that would be nice to be phone free for a run or workout.Overall, I really like the watch. I thought I would miss the Apple Watch integrations, but I don’t. The TRex still has the camera remote and find my phone features. I don’t really notice anything yet that I miss from my Apple Watch that I would say is a “send it back!” Thing.Updates are fast and so far little tweaks will continue to improve it. I would by it again.

   Great smart watch!
   I’ve debated for a long time about getting a smart watch. What’s the sense if you have your phone with you all the time. Well, I’m glad I got it. Size is perfect, as I like the bigger watch face. I have nothing to compare this to, as it is my first. After seeing many reviews of this watch vs Garmin and other watches, I decided to go with this one. The price was the #1 factor. The functions work well and I like the GPS mapping when hiking. I’m not much of a tech guy and still am learning how to be more efficient with this watch, which will come with time. The 2nd thing I like is I’ve used it for about 2 weeks now with no charging and it’s at 39%. The battery lasts a long time. I have used the navigation mapping several times along with treadmill use, walking, and everyday activity. Again I have nothing to compare this to but for me it’s great. Highly recommend especially knowing it compares well to Garmins etc and comes in way less $ than other brands.

   One of the best smart watch of segment. Rugged built, nice looks.Performs flawlessly during work outs. The data measurement is also accurate.I have just shifted from samsung galaxy watch 6 to this watch and am just amazed with the features provided and the battery management. I feel samsung should learn from amazefit.

   Best looking smart watch by amazefit till today , menu feel so fluid and smooth , quality feels very good and rugged , all the sensors work perfectly and accurate , best bang for the buck .
