Nice pant!
I had bought a pair of slim fit Dickies black pants and wore them for a year until I order the Amazon Essentials Men’s skinny fit pants this Sept 2014. Dickies are denim jeans or I think it is, so was not comfortable really, not really breathable. They felt like rough jeans with no kind of stretch . These Amazon Essential Slim Fit are cotton and spandex, and are very soft to the touch and so so comfortable. I work a part time job as an in store shopper in a grocery store, so bending, kneeling, stooping is so much better. I got two of them. But I got a 29 waist, 30 length, and is fitting a tiny bit, not much; I don’t like the pant cuffs to droop too much over the shoes, so going to return 1 pant and try a 28 waist which I should have gotten. Though that comes only with a 28 length, not a 29 length. I’m afraid then it may be too short in length at a 28 length.

You may or may not get a skinny pair, depending on ???
In addition to this stone colored pair, I have purchased many others in various colors. The thing is, of about eight pairs, only one color was skinny. To me, all the others were far from skinny – they’re more like an average or slim cut. That being said, I’m tall and thin and it’s almost always a challenge finding skinny pants that fit to my liking.The problem is, there is generally great inconsistency in each color, each order, each pair. It’s pretty obvious if you look at the photos of the various pants and colors on the models. Almost all of them vary widely in cut and “skinny-ness.” It would be helpful if they used one size model and then cut the pants uniformly according to the stated size. Also, always note the waist and length of the pair on the model in the photo. That being said, I know this is easier said than done with such an extensive assortment of colors and sizes and it’s kind of a miracle Amazon and their manufacturers do it as well as it’s done.Even with Amazon’s wildly fluctuating prices – the prices often vary constantly and continuously – these pants are generally a good value. (On that note, why in the world does Amazon charge $X and ten minutes later it’s maybe a third or half higher or lower???).To sum up, in my experience you will never know for sure what you will get – skinny or not, fits well or not – til they arrive and you try them on. If you were in a store, you may try on lots of pairs til you find a pair that fits, so in that sense it’s the same thing. With Amazon it’s great to be able to try them on and return them if they don’t fit. I’m actually quite appreciative that there are so many choices of pants (and everything else) at Amazon…kind of a miracle they do it as well as they do. Still, 3 stars for inconsistency….

When I first put these one I thought they were too skinny and tight. But they loosened up after wearing them around all day. They are still skinny/slim. But Iâm a muscular power lifter so theyâre more skinny than slim, but a slender guy could feel like theyâre more slim than skinny. Pants are Not too thick. Comfortable and stretchy. Love them. Would buy again. Not sure how theyâll hold up in the wash. Probably have to wash on cold and gentle. And maybe hang dry

Excellent Slim/Skinny Pants
These slim/skinny pants by Amazon Essentials truly go the extra mile in terms of everyday. The pants are completely comfortable and form fitting except from the knee down which is perfect. I wish they came in more colors because I would like to buy more of them. I got these on sale for $7.99 a pair and really want that price to appear again. These are your pants for life, you donât need to buy another pair of pants. Excellent metal button and zipper closure. Strong belt loops. 4 pockets that I use.

So these are really nice pants. Think of them more somewhere between jeans and the fabric for dress pants. They are stretchy and just really comfortable. Do keep quite close to the body. As someone shorter I appreciated the length options and got a perfect length.We’ll see how they wear but it’s a five stars for me for now..
