Works great!
Perfect little landline phone, esp for the price. Works great. Wasnât even sure they made things like this anymore. But itâs slim and easy to read. And works!

Good enough
To the guy who posted a video of it falling off the hook when wall mounted, you have to flip around the little tab on the base so the handset hangs on it. Read the instructions

Works perfect for our monthly power outages.
Our power goes out a lot! We get a lot of unwanted phone calls, so I need Caller ID. This works almost perfectly for when we are without power. The only drawback is that the display is not lighted. I have to keep a small battery operated light nearby to read the display.Other features work well.

Cheap, simple and compact
It has all the features I need on an extension phone (I plug it into an outside jack when I’m working in the yard, garden or carport) and nothing else. It’s small enough to be placed just about anywhere, and works well as a way to be able to answer the phone outside.

Caller ID LCD barely readable
Phone worked ok; decent ringer, sound quality, but the LCD display was barely readable in good lighting. Really needs to be backlit. Changing the contrast didnât help much at all.

Great Phone
I am very pleased with this purchase. We live in a very rural area. We do not have cell phone reception at our home so we are dependant on a land line. If our power goes out due to a storm cordless phone will no longer work so I have to have one that is actually plugged into the phone outlet. I go through them often as most do not work longer than a year. I am very pleased with this phone thus far.

Trimline phone is junk
I have been using this At&t Trimline corded phone (TR1909B) for about 2 months now. I am sorry, but I can’t recommend this product for the following reasons:Sound quality is terrible both in the receiver, and microphone to the other party. It sounds muffled with very poor frequency response. The other party hears people as if they were talking in a tunnel. For this reason alone, you should not buy this phone. When you press the phone agaist your face, it’s quite likely you will hang it up! The hang up button is flush with the ear area. All it takes is a slight press, and the phone is disconnected. I have had many disconnects this way.The display has almost no contrast and even in bright light the LCD display cannot be read. It does have a contrast adjustment, but it only can make it worse from it’s default setting. Also the display has no backlight. The cord it came with is really short, and cannot be detached from the phone base. It is hard wired in. So, to lengthen it you need a line coupler which will cost you another 5 dollars, and a trip to a electronics store. The phone requires 4 AA batteries which so far have lasted two months, and does add some weight to the base. However, the base is still too light weight. Picking up the phone nearly always causes the base to be lifted off the table and will likely hit the floor. This chinese made phone is of poor quality, and I think you’ll be disapointed in it if you purchase it.No one seems to make a decent handset style phone these days. Really, I would be willing to pay up $100 for a good phone.

Not the best…but definitely not the worst
Corded phone I’ve owned. But for my purposes, it will do just fine, as I only plan to install batteries and plug it in during power outages (which are many during the winter months, here in the Ozark backwoods). The sound quality on this phone is excellent, as is the ringer. I had no problems with static hearing people I talked to on the other end of the line and the ringer is not so jarring that it makes me jump out of my skin. The downside? It’s very difficult to read exactly who is calling on the ID screen unless you look at it from a certain angle. There is no backlight.Because of the placement of the ID screen the ID control buttons on the backside of the handset, you do have to watch how you hold the phone and take care not to accidentally press a button. In all honestly tho, it only took me two calls before I was holding the phone naturally by the bottom half of the handset to avoid this problem.Would I buy this phone again…I would. It works. And that’s all a phone really has to do, is work when you need it.
