A new instant Holiday Classic, aimed towards older teens and adults.
I was very excited to see this film after reading about it online. Once I saw the trailer, I knew I definitely had to watch this film! The movie is about an 18 year old girl who has to babysit a 13 year old and his friend on Christmas day. Everything seems to be going fine until they discover they are not alone in the house. They soon realize that instead of having a quiet Christmas evening, they are forced to fight for their lives. The actors portray their characters very well. There are some instance where it may feel a little forced but otherwise they do a great job making you feel for each character. You can feel the pressure for the babysitter and how she has to deal with things throughout the movie. It’s not very often we get to see a lead actress stay strong in a horror movie without pleading for her life or life of others. This lead actress makes you want to say “Good Job” or “You go girl!”. I can’t say to much about the kids otherwise it would be giving out too much and would spoil the movie. But I will say that they did a hell of a job for 13 year olds. The story feels fresh! It doesn’t feel like a copy or something pulled from another movie. It feels new and something we really haven’t seen in a horror movie before. It manages to balance horror, thriller and comedy just right. The movie takes us on a rollercoaster ride where it’s serious then it’s funny, then back to serious with a little humor. Things start to get really serious halfway through and keeps you glued to your TV to find out what happens next. This is a perfect balance and should not be overlooked for it.There isn’t too many kills in the movie (for the horror fans like myself) but two of the deaths are just jaw dropping and are actually believable (with the one not really done before). The other deaths are pretty generic, but the camera angles they used to shoot the scenes make them look pretty good. All in all, I was very happy with this film. It’s been a while since a new idea came up. I had only wish that this was an actual theater release to give it the attention it deserves. Movies such as Wish Upon or Leatherface could have switch and gone directly to video and this movie go into theaters. Better Watch Out can be enjoyed by teenagers and adults alike, it’s a instant true horror Christmas classic and should not be overlooked. It would be great if the film gets to do a sequel and be able to pick up where this one left off giving us a classic horror chase the victim scenario (almost like the original Halloween and Halloween 2, where we find Laurie fighting for her life in a house and the sequel picks up in the hospital). I’m giving it a 5 star rating because of it’s fresh idea, it’s great storyline, great characters, fun humor and it’s ability to make you keep watching until the very end. Don’t pass up on this great film. One quick find word, be sure to watch the credits for a quick additional scene.

Better Watch Out: The Perfect Holiday Horror Film Combo!
I’ve always been a fan of horror movies, especially those that take place during the holiday season. So when I came across Better Watch Out on Blu-ray & DVD Combo, I knew I had to give it a watch. And let me just say, this film did not disappoint! The story centers around a young boy named Luke who is being babysat by his longtime crush, Ashley. But when the two of them start to experience some strange and frightening events, they quickly realize that they’re not alone in the house. Without giving too much away, let’s just say that this film takes some seriously unexpected twists and turns, making for a thrilling and chilling ride from start to finish. One thing that really sets Better Watch Out apart from other horror films is the fantastic performances from the cast. Levi Miller and Olivia DeJonge are both excellent in their roles as Luke and Ashley, respectively, and the supporting cast brings plenty of scares and laughs along the way.But what really impressed me about this Blu-ray & DVD Combo is the quality of the picture and sound. The film is beautifully shot and the Blu-ray transfer does it justice, with crystal clear visuals and vibrant colors that really pop off the screen. And the surround sound mix adds an extra layer of tension and immersion to the viewing experience. And of course, the combo pack also comes with a DVD copy of the film, so you can take the scares with you on the go or watch it on a different device. Plus, there are some great bonus features included, like behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the cast and crew.Overall, if you’re a horror fan or just looking for a unique and thrilling holiday film, I highly recommend checking out Better Watch Out on Blu-ray & DVD Combo. It’s a perfect mix of scares, laughs, and surprises that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. So go ahead and add it to your collection, but beware – this film is not for the faint of heart!

Great Horror movie!!
by Sany 3000

Now that’s what I call a fun “horror”, black comedy.Funny thing, it was filmed the same year as “The Babysitter, 2017, with Judah Lewis”; they sort of complement each other: in “The Babysitter by Netflix”, the boy is the victim & the grown ups are evil; in “Better Watch Out”, it’s the kid whose evil and the grown-ups who are the victims, I don’t think it’s meant to be scary but rather a tongue-in-cheek bloody mess with surprisingly great twists, it’s simply a lot of fun!
