A Year and a Half in for this toaster oven.
This Small oven has a big punch. It has worked well for us on heating dinners, toasting bread, and heating vegetables. Very convenient and fits in corner of counter quite nice. Easy to operate.

Best mini oven ever!
Over the last 50 years, I have owned multiple toaster ovens. There just simply handy for small baking/broiling without heating your large oven. Especially great for kids toasting small baked goods. Having purchased many of these in the past, I’ve noted that they really don’t last that long and have poor heating elements and are hard to clean. I began an extensive Google search to identify the best small counter top oven and this item consistently appeared as the number one recommendation. I realize its more expensive than most of the others but I liked the fact that it had four heating elements and a ceramic lining for easy cleaning.My research paid off and this is the best, easiest to use oven I’ve ever owned. The heating, timer and ease of use is just perfect. Now I have never used this type of oven for simple toast as I believe a regular toaster is best for that, but I do toast sandwiches in it and its great. I’m glad I spent a little more as this appears to be of such good quality that it will likely outlast two or three of the cheapy ovens.

Wonderful
This is perfect for my two-person household. It does all the toaster oven things without trying to replace my big oven. What’s fun is that it has two very useful buttons: snowflake, which tells the device that you are cooking something frozen, and which the device will take into account, and “A Bit More,” which is fantastic. You can add a little time onto whatever you’re cooking without having to reprogram it, and this morning I dialed up “reheat” and, instead of “start,” pushed “A Bit More.” It started heating up to temp without doing the whole preheat thing, which involves all heating elements on full. I had brought home breakfast from a restaurant and set it on the baking tray and put it in the oven while I made coffee and cleaned up, and it was nicely heated when we sat down to eat. I had some pancakes that I wanted to keep warm until we finished everything else, and I put them on a plate, loaded in some butter, covered the whole thing with aluminum foil, and put the plate in the oven on “bake” set at 120 degrees and 30 minutes after the first batch of food came out. The oven was already warm so preheating wasn’t necessary. I took it out at about 25 minutes, and it was perfect – the pancakes were still hot, but the plate wasn’t too hot to hold. Yesterday I put a frozen bagel in it on the bagel setting with the snowflake button pushed, and it came out hot and crusty on the outside and tender and chewy in the middle. I did split the bagel before I froze it – not sure it would have heated as well if it hadn’t been cut.It’s nicely small, but will be big enough for my needs. I put a baking rack on top of it and a cutting board on top of that, and the air gap allows me to stack my toaster oven trays and my oven mitts on top. The cutting board is 10 x 14 and is a nice fit.I love using this and highly recommend it.UPDATE: I got a silicone trivet from Joseph Joseph and replaced the baking rack with that. Much more secure because the silicone keeps it from slipping. Also have now tried all the cycles, and have made cookies for the first time in years without burning the bottoms. My favorite is the frozen Shepherd’s Pie from Aldi, from solidly frozen to done, perfect, in the paper pan it came in, without heating up the big oven or the house.

The oven is a nice size and intuitive to use. Unfortunately the first oneâs digital functions did not function correctly and heating element did not respond correctly.I called Breville customer service and was impressed. The representative was able to set up a kind of zoom so he could see exactly what the oven was doing. He concluded it should be replaced, sent me instructions to UPS it back.My intent was to replace my toaster which died. I decided to upgrade to a toaster oven. I really like the oven but agree with other reviewers of many brands that toasting bread is not the strong suit of these ovens. For many of us there will be a learning curve. I suggest searching for âhow to toast bread in toaster ovensâ. Surprisingly, what works for me is toasting on the broil function, flipping halfway through. You need to watch it. This gives medium darkness and not an over dried toast with very hard crust. I am toasting sourdough bread.

after 3 less expensive units ( name BRANDS) FINALLY brokew down and went for quality. this unit cooks as it described it would – keeps temperate and cooks within time as identified in recipes. easy to use – 30 years and finially we are cooking food as per the recipe.

I got this unit to replace a much less expensive toaster oven from a different, reputable company that lasted a month. The Breville has many great features that justify the higher price. The dials are easy to use and with the digital screen, I know exactly what setting I have chosen for the darkness of the toast. It saves your last setting so there is no need to reset every time. It has a Bagel setting as well as a Toast setting, you can indicate the number of slices, and it toasts well. Unlike the cheaper unit I replaced, crumbs do not burn on to the bottom tray so it does not fill quickly with black spots if you donât wipe it after each use. When I do want to wipe crumbs off, it pulls out without opening the oven, which is a convenient feature. It preheats very quickly. It has a âBit Moreâ function that adds more time if you need it, and you can easily adjust the amount of extra time. While it takes slightly longer than a microwave to reheat leftovers, I think they taste better. I do have to look at it to see if it has finished preheating (the screen changes color) but thatâs no different from my wall oven. Iâm very happy with the unit.

Tengo el horno grande, de la misma marca, pero se me hacia mucho prenderlo por dos panes y la parrilla y el tostador de pan son buenos pero el sabor que tienen tus alimentos horneados en este aparato no puedo describirlo, Tanto el el tostador como en la parrilla me costaba que el Bagel quedara bien tostado, lo sentia masudo, o chicloso, pero ahora puedo hacer mis tostadas de bagel o de cualquier otro pan tan cruijientes y deliciosas como yo quiera. No imaginas lo facil que se hacen mis desayunos desde que lo compre.

Este hornito no tiene nada que ver con las demás marcas. Es la calidad de un verdadero horno, solo que pequeño. SÃ, es muy caro, pero para mi sà vale la pena ya que me gusta cocinar. El tostado del pan es único, queda en un punto perfecto. El horno no achicharra de pronto; tiene muchas modalidades para diferentes alimentos y todos hasta ahora funcionan de manera excelente
