Itâs a very nice Vent hoodâ¦with light and fan

Replaced old 25â built in
I bought this to replace a same brand built in that was very loud. This one was not a direct replacement but fit the hole left by the old one very good. I had to add some wood supports behind the hood to hold up the new hood. You can see the 4×4 wood I added to he able to screw the hood into. The hood has helper latches the hold the hood up while you work on the screws if you opening is not too wide for the latches.This hood is also taller than my old one and I had to find alternative 6â vent tubing for it. Went for a highly rated flexing flexible tubing that was rated for gas dryers. this is a very good product – well made and easy to install – a bit expensive but very pleased – and I am an experienced builder using this in my own home ..

Could not be more disappointed
I wanted a ceiling flush fan and was so excited when I found this one in a price range I could afford. Unfortunately, it looks great and sounds like a 777 is about to take off, and that’s at the low setting; it’s horrifyingly loud. I paid to have it installed, now I have to pay to have it removed AND pay to have a different fan installed.

Perfect
Itâs such a clean look and allows for details like a nice backsplash to stand out even more. It has 4 vent settings all with good strong, 3 that are nice and quiet and the fourth is significantly louder but also super strong for heavy smoke. 2 light settings that are also great. In the video you can barely hear the fan as conversation happen in the background.

Loud, very loud
On the upside, exactly what I needed for the available space on my new cabinets. On the downside, this thing is very loud on the high speed setting. A label on the inside has it on 7 sones. Look it up on the sones scale before you buy.

Works amazing. We hard-piped it in and it is not very noisy. Vents well and hides nicely underneath the built-in. Really happy with our purchase. Easy to install.
