Nice shoes
Living in FL having a good selections of sandals is important. My issue is wide feet with plantar fasciitis. This my first pair of Clark’s and I love them. I got the black patent leather and it looks like a fancy high-end pair of sandals. They are comfy and cushy but still supportive. The adjustable side strap works well for getting the perfect fit. Highly recommend. I’m gonna be keeping my eye out for sales on them to purchase another pair.

Bonus! These are cuter than they look online! The stitching is precise. The outer material is flawless. The buckle is low profile and not gaudy. The color is as expected.Clarks brand consistently produces shoes I could work in all day, standing over 12 hours, doing heavy lifting. They don’t usually have much style but that’s okay for a work shoe. My arches are high and I get plantar fasciitis if I don’t wear orthotic shoes or add supports. For me it means flip flops are too flat to be painless, even for casual days off.I previously bought a pair of Vionic flip flops that cost over 2X more than these. The Vionics had a strong built in arch but zero heel cushion in a hard plastic foot bed. The foot bed got very slippery if I used lotion on my feet or if I were anywhere near water. I couldn’t wear them to the pool, the river, or walking the neighborhood because even the sprinklers were too much. My heels weren’t happy in them but at least my arches were cared for without having to spend my days off in running shoes. The Vionics were very pretty but after only one season of weekends the toe post pulled completely out while I was walking on flat ground. This caused me to fall, skinning my feet and knees. The Vionics were ruined.This year I decided to give flip flops another go under a different brand. I’m happy I did. These have ample heel cushion and light arch support. I would have liked a bit more support in the arch, but the adjustable strap helps get the fit snug enough to make up for it. I can walk in these all day and not have aching feet. The foot bed is much softer than Vionics plastic and does not get slippery. My heels are grateful. Lotion nor water exposure are an issue with this pair. The bottom tread is as good as an athletic shoe without being large and ugly. It has both grip and flexibility. The sizing is a good match. I wear an 8 in sandals and dress shoes, so I ordered size 8 in these and they fit properly. Because of my arch height I need an 8.5 or 9 sometimes for athletic shoes. My foot is medium width. If you have a wide foot then this might not work for you. I think they seem slightly on the narrow side, but not enough to be a problem for me. I do not know if they will hold up as well as Clarks shoes. I haven’t had them long, but if the durability is good I’m buying a second pair in another color!

My favorite shoes, older design was a better fit.
I’ve been wearing Clarks for probably a decade now, so comfortable, I have 6 colors. I bought the Navy Sea Breeze to replace my old ones that started splitting around the heel. I have an average size 8 foot, not narrow or wide, average instep. I do like the look of the newer shoe, especially the Navy insole. However I noticed these are much tighter across the top of the foot, had to pull the velcro really tight to keep it adhered. I measured compared to my old shoes, the side strap holding the Velcro is a half inch shorter. I check my 6 other pairs and all are at least a 1/2 inch or more longer. Maybe it is just the pair I received, hopefully not the new design. See photos of side strap difference, you can tell the older shoe is much longer, as is the Velcro strip. The last two photos show the difference of of length pulled snug over my foot. Wide feet may not even meet together.

Favorite go to summer shoes
After living in Florida for 6 years, these are more go to shoes. I wear out about 3 pair a year. So I have them in every color to go with all my outfits. Absolutely love them. They adjust so they are always comfortable, have lots of support, and look cute. Not too expensive either.
