Good 1850s Thomas Day Reference
This is a very informative book about a very narrow slice of furniture design. The title misled me to believe this was more comprehensive regarding furniture design. The title could have been âThomas Day Furniture.â The book has numerous âplatesâ or figures (more than half the book) with a lot of information on proportion, but all as it relates to Thomas Dayâs furniture from the 1850s. Overall disappointed in the content, but it will make a good addition to my woodworking library as there are a few good nuggets in there.
