2 Stars â Disappointed with Quality and Design
I recently purchased the Euro Ceramica Zanzibar Collection 16 Piece Dinnerware Set (service for 4) with the Spanish floral design in blue and yellow, and unfortunately, Iâm not very impressed. Hereâs my review:Pros:Bright, Cheerful Colors: The multicolor blue and yellow design is vibrant and adds a nice pop of color to the table. The set definitely brings a cheerful, lively feel to the dining area.Complete Set for 4: This set includes everything you need for a full table setting â 4 dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, and mugs â making it a good option for small families or casual meals.Cons:Quality is Below Average: The overall quality of the dinnerware feels cheap. The plates and bowls are not as sturdy as I would expect for the price, and they feel fragile. Iâm concerned about them chipping or breaking with regular use.Designs Are Blurry: The Spanish floral designs, while colorful, are not very sharp or clear. They look a bit blurry and faded, which is disappointing, especially for a set that looks like it should have intricate detailing. The patterns donât have the crisp, clean look I was hoping for.Overpriced for the Quality: Given the quality of the materials and the blurry designs, I feel that the set is overpriced. Very happy I made this choice
**2 years later, an update**So this is a first for me – 2 years after purchase but Iâm literally using our sole âchippedâ cup & was jazzed enough that I felt compelled to update my review bc I wholeheartedly support this store/brand/seller/product. My cup is also full of gin & fruity bits but I didnât have to tell you that!I find so much crap on Amazon that I donât trust – do you know how many items have obviously mis-sized photoshopping & the seller doesnât even care??? Pfffz. I have 2 teenagers who *still* just throw my cast iron pots & pans literally ON TOP of these plates & mugs (they balance a heavy pot on them in the sink like jerks) – nothing. I no longer panic about this. Heavier things in life to worry about. The mugs are a little chunky (but great for gin & water!); we have one bowl that has had a small chip on it for 2 years (also – still – holds a pile of skillets/pans/plates/cups/silver on it). The plates are a hit, they still make everyone happy. Feels like everyoneâs a lot more pleasant & behaved when we use them. Havenât lost a single piece, nothing has actually broken & literally there is one bowl that has been chipped for 2 years – with a small chip – and a mug that has a tiny nick that literally no one else but me notices.TLDR/ as far as dishware goes, youâd be an idiot to turn these down :)Original Post***Loved them so much, I bought a second set in case something happens over time. My new favourite plate set. Iâm picky about thickness & art detail…oftentimes complicated designs are gaudy or halfassed. This set is even more beautiful in person. We use them daily, they go in the microwave, dishwasher, the kids pile pots, pans and all sorts of heavy dishware on them inside the sink – I’m always anxious theyâll break, but luck has held out & I still have a full set. The artwork is very well designed, the overlaying glaze isnât thick and gross, itâs just perfect. One bowl has a tiny chip (kids) and we still use it. Breakable of course but Iâm amazed how well theyâve held up against my teens. Iâm not in love with the mugs, theyâre thicker than Iâd like, but I bought the set for the plates and bowls. Rarely do I find joy in material objects (or leave reviews) but I really do enjoy this set. Def an investment Iâm happy to have made.

Beautiful and well packaged!
I originally bought these many years ago. Over the years Iâve had some chip, which is to be expected with a ceramic. I was so excited to find that I could still buy them. I absolutely love these dishes. The colors are vibrant and the pattern is amazing. I dreaded the thought of having to find new dishes and finding these was like, a major win. I am going to order another box just to put in my China cabinet in case anything breaks in the future. They were extremely well packaged nothing was wrong when I opened the package. They were all in perfect condition. I also bought the pasta bowls, which are a fabulous addition to my collection, I hope you buy and enjoy these for many years to come.

Lovely dishes
Bought these dishes in 2023, and while reading the reviews of others saw that someone said that they chipped very easily. almost didnât buy them because of that but I loved how they looked and decided to take a chance. They have been absolutely wonderful, I love them and get lots of compliments on them. And Iâve had them now for a couple years and I havenât even had one chip. So donât let that scare you away from buying these lovely dishes.
