**An Enemies-to-Lover, Steamy Hockey Romance***
What happens when a star hockey player ruins your trip to Cabo… on purpose? You end up on the plane ride from hell headed to his snowy hometown.
He’s my mortal enemy and one of the hottest NHL players in the league, but I have no interest in hockey players… well, not anymore. And Lake Powers is no exception.
Now I’m stuck sleeping under the same roof of this picturesque mountain mansion and I have to deliver what I set out to do… turn Lake into America’s Sweetheart with this charity event. I won’t allow myself to get distracted by the man the puck bunnies refer to as “Magic Stick”.
What I didn’t expect to find when I arrived in Aspen is a different side of Lake than the filthy hockey player I thought he was.
So, when he offers up a bet that I’m sure to win, I jump the gun and agree before hearing his indecent wager.
Now I’m locked into his terms and he’s hedging his stake on one thing he knows about me… I never back down from a bet.

Brilliant story!
I really enjoy enemies to lovers stories! Even with the grammar errors, this was fantastic! I appreciated how he recognized his love for her but was still held back by fear and past experiences; their emotional struggle was intense throughout!

Another
This was another cute book. These books seem to go by fast. They left out if they won the cup that season. Was kinda hoping there would have been more with his sisters. Seems like there are characters that have very little rolls but are only there for a little lighthearted-ness. They also seem to not need a very much time to fall in love, almost insta-love. I do love that the women tend to be feisty. I enjoy when they don’t just roll over & give in. I’d only recommend if you’re into the whole fast paced, stubborn people that basically are just fighting their feelings. Or if you’re looking for a quick read. You don’t need to have read Book 1, but maybe just to give you an idea on how the books will go. Onward to the next!

just ok
This one Tessa irritates me beyond belief. She is there to manage lakes social media presence. Tessa finds out lake is judging a wet tahirt contest. Then decides to join it to get on stage to show him she knows. Also joining she signs all release form for any photos taken. Like.. okay? Sheâs dumb for a PR person. But I dunno this one just didnât do it for me. They both seemed really juvenile for grown adults.

Enemies to lovers
Lake and Tess are perfect for each other. Loved their competitive sides. Hate the loss that had hindered Lake for all the years thinking he didnât deserve love again. One of my favorite couples in this series. So happy everything worked out for them in the end. Great read canât wait for the next bookHEA âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸Spice level ð¶ï¸ð¶ï¸ð¶ï¸ð¶ï¸

The romance I needed!!!!
I read the first one and really liked it but this one has to be better than the first. I went in with low expectations because I don’t necessarily like enemies/ rivals to lovers and I just needed something trashy to read to get me out of my slump but it wasn’t trashy and was actually so cute ð. I hated Lake at the beginning but he redeemed himself fs. It was exactly what I needed, a low stakes hockey romance with cute banter and heated moments. Def one of the better hockey romance books I’ve read.

Sooo good! I was hooked from the beginning and couldnât put it down. I love a good enemies to lovers. The banter and slow burn between Lake and Tessa was chefs kiss. I could totally feel the chemistry between. Tessa is the teamâs PR manager and Lake needs help cleaning up his image. Tessa goes to Lakeâs hometown for bye week where she learns there is more to Lake than what he lets everyone see.Read if you like:ðEnemies to loversðHockey Romanceð¥µSlow burnðBrothers Teammateð¤Banter

Lake and Tessa went through so much in their past. They both have some traumatic experiences that make them not want to be together. Well, sometimes life just had a way of telling you something different.Lake decides he’s going to ruin Tessa’s smexy vacation plans, and she’s not happy. He then realizes he may have messed up when he finds out she’s booked at a very questionable hotel in his hometown. Everything changes in that instant. He knows he has to save her from that place. This sets off a whole series of events, making them realize they are made for each other only to have a wrench thrown in the mix. The ups and downs between these two and the fire on the pages are the next level. I love their back and forth. I laughed and cried reading this one.

This is a cute love story. But if your looking for lots of spice – look somewhere else. The first spice is at around 70% of the book. And there are only 2 smutty scenes in the whole book. Also, I donât like 3rd act break ups. This was such a back and forth. I didnât understand both characters at some point in the book. And why wasnât the confrontation with the FMCs brother in the book??? It was all a little annoying and at some point I did not want to finish. But I pulled through.

So⦠the book felt like parts were missing ⦠and like where was the ending??? Brent told Tessa donât join up with lake blah blah blah. Not ONCE did we hear about his opinion? Second, the ending? Was that even an ending? It was like Iâm happy ok BYE.

I’ve been waiting to read Tessa and Lake’s story since reading book 1. This is a standalone hockey romance told in duel POV and you don’t need to have ready book 1 first, but I would definitely recommend it.I loved the bickering and conversations these two had, they were enemies but you could see the playful side too. Lake just loved to get under Tessa’s skin, but she gave as good as she got.Lake gets Tessa’s vacation cancelled and instead, she has to spend the week with him to help with his social media personality as he has a typical playboy image but the owners want a family image. These two had an explosive attraction, but they both tried and resisted and for completely different reasons. Playboy Lake seems to be a different person when he’s home, but Tessa jumps to so many conclusions that it makes me like her less throughout the book. Lake seems to go from never wanting any relationships to ‘not wanting to lose’ Tessa very quickly. Their relationship seemed to jump around a bit and I was never quite sure where either of them stood with the other.I didn’t enjoy this as much as book 1, but I still read it in less than 2 days. The ending seemed to cut off, as soon as they declared their feelings the story ended and then we jumped to an epilogue 1 year later. After all the angst I would have liked to have seen them interact as an actual couple for a bit first.- hockey romance- enemies to lovers- duel POV- standalone
