I LOVE this book and intend to use it thoroughly as my daughter puts together her first apartment. We have always been huge IKEA fans â I am writing at an IKEA desk right now. And as flexible as IKEA furniture is, and as many ways as I have used Billy bookcases â this book takes DIY to a whole new level. The Photos â excellent! The Directions for IKEA furniture and additional materials â excellent! The Instructions â excellent! And there are photos to guide you as you create the projects. What is the down side? You will find so many pieces that you didnât really know you absolutely need! A room divider? A bookcase for the back of your sofa? A really easy, great looking window seat? A full built in home office? All here, plus more. DIY has never been easier or more creative!For anyone who has an apartment or a smaller home or a larger space, or any place where size is crucial or anyone on a budget âthis book is for you.

The Ikeahackers book shows you a lot of creative options to take furniture you’re already going to build and to make it personalized for your home. Some of them were really cute and made the furniture look much more expensive, not to mention making your place look less like every other personâs living room or bedroom because we all buy furniture from Ikea!! well, or maybe this is just for our young years!! Or maybe youâre outfitting your kids dorm, or their bedroom and donât want to buy a solid oak desk that will be ruined. I can understand that. Anyway! There are projects for all rooms -living room, bedroom, office, including kids or teens, as I mentioned. My only beef was that some of the projects needed additional lumber and one project I saw needed a circular saw. I donât have those kinds of things, so it’s not all just a remaking of parts from Ikea that werenât originally sold together- keep that in mind and you’ll be all set!

Helps Make common items seem Custom made
IKEA has great deals and a lot of options, I for one have bought many items there so this book was right up my alley from the get go. The pictures are first of all really great and they give you some cool styling tips that give you some really unique and beautiful looks on a budget. The one downside of IKEA is that because of its affordability you see your same furniture in many houses, this book “hacks” that and gives you the tools to make things look truly unique and stylish.The book is well written and easy to follow with items and rooms all over the house and surprising tips i’m sure you haven’t thought of. Seriously if you plan on interior decorating or DIY projects pick this one up you won’t regret it.

Book or URL?
This isn’t bad, the descriptions for how to assemble the products were not great. but the illustrations were helpful for the most part. I will say though that the few ideas in the book were not some of the better ones that i saw on their website. So i would recommend using the website first to decide if this product is for you.

I did not place this order. But I have balance in Amazon Pay, someone hacked my account and placed order. Unfortunately, I don’t have an opportunity to either cancel this order or contact someone for help. It’s an alarm, we should not keep balance in Amazon Pay. Fortunately, I had only Rs.300/-, what if I had some 10 or 20 K? The order amount would have vanished my balance.Hence, neither AMAZON, nor the product deserve a RATING!!!
