Carafe is affordable and does the job
If they’d quit dropping it, I could quit buying them. This is our 3rd order in 2.5 years. They last and hold the right amount of coffee, and fit our tiny expresso machine. That’s all that is required, so I didn’t need to spend 16.00 or more. Arrives in 2 to 3 days. Not an issue. I bought 2 this time. It’s a good replacement carafe.

Bottom line – would buy again.
Not paid or sponsored. I write this so you may know that it fit my Mr. Coffee Espresso maker 8VMC-ECM250. The capacity is twice what is needed but it fits right in height wise and does not leak and splatter out when brewing. 4 shots is roughly the 2 “cups” mark on this. I have gone straight for hot coffee to chilled water and this has not broken doing that. It is because it has taken some abuse and not exploded that I am writing this. It also pours well without dribbling.

Great Replacement
The lid broke off of my last carafe. This is exactly the same as the one that came with my espresso maker and will probably last as long as that one did. The lid is a necessity to keep the coffee from spitting all over the counter. Would buy again but I think the espresso maker will go before then!

Better than the original carafe
I had to move into an extended-stay hotel following a major leak; while hotel coffee was okay, I needed my daily morning dose of Cafe Cubano, so my espresso machine had to come with me. Pulling it out of the box, I dropped the original carafe. Amazon and IMUSA came to the rescue! This is an excellent carafe (I’m hesitant to say replacement carafe simply because it feels more like an upgrade). I love that the “splash guard” lid is attached to the handle yet is easy enough to remove for washing.If you face the same carafe disaster that I did or wish to replace your original one, do not hesitate to purchase this one. It is better quality at a great price!

I broke my Krups pot and needed a replacement. This is a perfect match. Previous reviews said there was no lid. Mine came with a detachable lid on a hinge. Seems to be good quality!
