Sister loves this fryer
I got this air fryer for my sister in Omaha NE. She had never had one before so I thought I would send her this one. She only cooks for herself and her son so the small size if perfect for them. It is easy to use, clean, and store.She loves it and cooks anything from cheesy potatoes, to chicken, to toast, you name it. No issues reported from her about this air fryer. I do highly recommend the Instant Pot product.

Smaller size and works beautifully
I absolutely love this smaller air fryer. I needed to find one that wasnât made for larger meals and this fit the bill. Very easy to operate and a beautiful red color to boot. I would certainly buy this again in a heartbeat.

My Second One
I bought one of these a few years ago, gave it away when I got the dual-tray model. I just gave that one to some friends because I never used both trays, and bought another one of these. It’s quiet and it’s the perfect size for a single person. Easy to clean, preheats quite fast and reliable. I’ve owned several air fryers, still own the big Breville smart oven/air fryer, but I like the Instant brand best.

This is the BEST mini 2 quart air fryer
This is the first air fryer I purchased as I dipped my toe into the air fryer world, and I absolutely love it. I’ve used it multiple times a day since it arrived and I never had a problem with a strong smell. It works flawlessly and feels solidly built. I loved this one so much, I bought a different air fryer for when I need a larger, deeper basket but, after my positive experience with the Instant Vortex Mini, I was very disappointed in the quality of the larger one from a different popular brand. It made me love my mini Vortex even more. The mini Vortex is very quiet while cooking, and even the beeps it makes are quieter. I like the dial operation as I can adjust the time and temperature without any beeping. This air fryer gives you the option to completely turn off all beeping sounds by touching and holding both the Time and Temp for 3 seconds while it’s in standby mode. The beeps can be turned back on by repeating the process. It’s a nice feature to have when quieter operation is needed. It seems that most air fryers don’t have this feature. This Vortex mini is ideal for 1-3 people and the small footprint is perfect for college students or anyone with limited space. Definitely recommend.

Nice size on my counter but a bit small for the food
I am having great fun with my new cooking toy. I have been trying everything: toast, grilled cheese, gyoza, spring rolls, broccolini, soy nuggets. I still am not sure about the roasting feature and VERY disappointed with the app which I immediately removed from my phone when I saw that the recipes were only available with a paid subscription. The supplied printed documentation was mostly to prevent them getting sued if you burn yourself by not following their cautions, so I was hoping for more robust information from the app or website. Couldn’t find it. That being said, everything pops out nice and crispy and the fact that the food container is so small, might be useful as portion control. You just can’t air fry that much food at any one time. Really only handles one piece of bread at a time. Someday I might buy a larger fryer with shelves, but this one takes up so little space that I can leave it out on the counter which is a boon. And the red color is bright and lovely.

Perfect for small space
Small enough to tuck into a cabinet when not in use. This is the perfect size for one person. Can fit large slice of pizza or two hamburgers. Has 4 settings: fry, roast, reheat and bake. You are able to choose alternate temps and cook times on the led screen. Very easy to use pick cook setting, adjust temperature and time by twisting knob. Preheats then signals when itâs time to add food, turn food over and when cooking is complete. The tray comes completely out for cleaning.

Compact, works.
This is my first air fryer. I live alone and have a small kitchen, wanted something I could put away in a cabinet when not in use, and this fits the bill.The fan noise is not a big deal (and when it’s cold I love holding my hands next to the exhaust vent for the warm air), it had a plasticky smell the first 2-3 times I used it (I did wash the basket before use), but now it smells fine. Cleaning is a breeze – I spray the basket with water vigorously right after cooking and that’s usually enough. Some things, like roasting drippy tomatillos, burned the juice to the bottom. A quick soak and then a wipe with a sponge and it was clean again.So far everything I’ve cooked I’ve just done at 400 (the air fry temperature), but it’s easy to change the temperature and the time. I like the “food turn” beeps around 2/3 of the way through the time as well as when it’s preheated and when it’s done.The basket is too short to roast a whole red bell pepper (even after removing the tray from the basket), but cutting the pepper in half and putting foil under it worked great. I’ve also roasted thinner chiles whole (hatch, anaheim, jalapeno, pasilla), and it doesn’t set off my fire alarm the way my broiler does, while still cooking the whole chiles enough that the skin blackened and came right off.Other successes: roasting nuts, baking pie crust cookies, falafel, broccoli (had to learn to put the stems in way early and only put the florets in at the end because they’ll burn), roasting garlic or onions or tomatillos, crisping up tofu, sweet potato fries, butternut squash.So far I haven’t used any recipes for time and temperature – I’ve done everything at 400 and put it on for 20 minutes and just keep checking it for doneness until I figure out what works. I think I’m going to try caramelizing bananas next.This thing is fun! I can’t make enough sweet potato fries as I want in a single batch, but I can make as many as I should probably eat in one sitting. It’s plenty big enough to make as much broccoli as I want, go figure.

air fryer for only two people
I never used an air fryer before but I now use it with almost everything I cook. I especially like it for chicken thighs, salmon and French fries. Works well, also I bought the red one which was about $30 less expensive than the black one. a good price $60.

Vivo sola y a caà en el hábito de comer afuera, pero ahora preparo muchas cosas muy sanas y me impacta lo cómodo que es y lo rico que sabe. Estaba con el pendiente del tamaño de la canasta pero realmente puedo preparar buena cantidad de comida (verduras, carnes) para una sola persona.
