Does not support WiFi – Not Plug and play – Jio customer service will not help
Automatic pairing is not supported. Although Jio claims that it works with WiFi, in reality, it only functions with a cable connection. I had to spend an additional 1000 rupees to purchase and install a 30-meter cable myself. There might be a chance (not guaranteed) for it to work with WiFi, but you would need to escalate the issue multiple times and follow up until you can reach someone from the backend team in Mumbai.Additional Information after Device Replacement:———————————————————-I received a used device initially, which I got replaced. The original device was black while the replacement is white. To configure the device, I connected it to the router via LAN for 3 minutes. After the WiFi light turned solid green, I moved the device to another room (attempting a WiFi connection) where the main router’s signal was weak. It worked temporarily but the connection was never stable; the WiFi light frequently turned red. Subsequently, I connected the mesh using LAN and my self-installed 30-meter Ethernet cable. Now, the WiFi light remains solid green at all times and provides a strong signal; however, there are frequent internet disconnections when connected solely through Mesh.Despite raising service requests, Jio personnel have falsely claimed that I rejected their assistance or marked my request as resolved without attempting contact.

Good Wifi Range extender for Jio Fiber
My room in our house did not have the wifi and was out of range for the original router. I was recommended to buy the Jio WiFi extender by my brother who had similar problems. The extender was easy to setup. I connected the extender to my original router with a LAN cable and simply turned on the extender. It automatically setup the extender in a few minutes. After that I put the extender closer to my room and had a very good network coverage. Please ensure that you have a strong WiFi signal in the extender and it shows always green. If it shows a blinking yellow, move it closer to the router to ensure good coverage.

Worst product don’t purchase
It’s not working. Technical team try almost 15 days and still it’s not working and not replaced as well. Worst product we never seen. Waste of money and time

THIS PRODUCT IS GOOD
JIO WiFi Extender JCM 0112, AC 1200 Dual Band is a good product. It is meant for big house where there are pockets with weak WiFi signal. This extender does its job as per its name. If signal from the WiFi router at the installed point of extender becomes strong, it will illuminate yellow colour LED as it assumes that the router is very near to the extender and when the signal becomes weak LED will turn green and will extend the signal.In my bedroon earlier I never use to get 5GHz frequency but after installation of extender I am getting more than 90Mbps speed and 2.4Ghz frequency 45Mbps speed.This is absolutely a very good product. We need to understand its working principle and thats all.Only drawback is that it works only with JIO router.

Not getting wi-fi
This product is absolutely waste…No use…. Wi-Fi not getting 1st floor. That’s why I bought this extender. But purpose not solved.

Durability and Finish
I bought this product a month back. The quality of the product is excellent and the working is easy and smooth. Its memory function help me to set height according to my choice. The important function is the reminder chime to get up or sit down after a preset time. I recommend this product to those who work on computer or laptop for long hours.

Good Experience but lack of instructions on installation
The manual comes with device do not mention about JioHome app which is required to activate this device and pair with your router.You have to first install JioHome app , login using your registered JioFiber number. Then go in networks. You will see option of add extender tap on it. Then you have scan qr on this device and complete the activation. Once its done connect your device with router via lan cable switch it on and do the process as per manual it will get constant green line when paired. And you are ready to go.I have been using this device since few days and cover , download upload speeds are good compared to i have been using old router as extender which drops connection and speed drop issues. Overall its good but bit overpriced. Quality is good but should have cheaper.And manual should mention about jio home app.
