Beautiful design, works great!!
This is a GORGEOUS oven vent! The quality of the craftsmanship is very apparent. Lots of attention to detail, including the stainless steel. Installation took no time at all with 2 of us. The features really make this stand out with multiple ventilation speeds and the double led lighting. Overall, this is a remarkable, well-made oven vent, and I would highly, highly recommend it!

Functional Vent Hood
For the price, this vent hood is not bad. This model lacks some of the more advanced features and design elements found on Midea’s higher end hoods such as touchless gesture control. Physical button controls on this model are easily accessible and clearly visible on the front. Simple and effective.The fan is very quiet on low speed, seems like it is well-balanced from the factory. This can be set up to recirculate air, or exhaust it. If the recirculate option is used, it needs a charcoal filter that is sold separately. Charcoal filters will need periodic replacement as well. The charcoal filters are sold under the Comfee brand for some reason, and cost about $10 each at the time of this review.When using exhaust mode, only the intake filters are needed, which are easy to remove and clean.Overall good value for the money if you need a basic stainless vent hood with a quiet fan and lighting.

.Very nice features. The fan appears very efficient. It’s lighter in material and a good value for the quality offered. It certainly looks great and performs well. The filter seem to do the job claimed.Overall, we’re pleased with the results. it was a good choice to replace the old one and made the whole kitchen appear more updated.

Solid manufacturer, simple hood….
One of the most important considerations in buying something involving a lot of installation effort like a range hood is the ongoing reliability of the manufacturer. I bought a no-name hood like this when we redid our kitchen a few years ago. Boy, it was the hardest install of the whole process. We have a brick exterior on our two-story house and we already had a vent hole cut in it for a straight-out vent for a previously installed microwave/vent hood. I wanted to reuse that vent hole rather than cut a new one in the bricks. The problem was that the hood I got, like this hood, has a vent that must rise to the ceiling, either to exit through the roof or to take a 90-dgree turn to go out the side of the house between stories (or at the ceiling) and the microwave/hood combo we had previously went straight out at the bottom of the microwave, about three feet lower than the new vent hood was made to go out.I managed to hang the hood and route the exhaust duct to reuse the old hole. It took a LOT of thought and effort, but I was able to do it. But now I live in fear that the fan motor will die on the hood I installed leaving me without a source for a new motor.All this to say that an established brand like Midea is now a necessity in my mind for vent hoods. I hope to use this vent hood in a vacation home we own when the time comes that we need to re-roof and it makes sense to cut a hole in the cathedral ceiling.It’s a fine, inexpensive hood for a 30-inch range. There’s nothing special about it. It has lights at the rear, filters and an exhaust fan. But Midea is a brand that has become prominent enough that I’m hopeful replacement parts will be able to be found for its appliances in days to come.

Beautiful
Got this for my upcoming kitchen remodel and I have not installed it yet, but it looks really nice, sleek and quality initially seems just the same as the ones I have seen at home improvement stores. I can’t wait to see what it looks like in the reno and will update once it is in and turned on. Price seems reasonable for our as well. Looks commercial but low profile which is what I was hoping for.

Clean looking. Decent fan power.
This range was relatively easy to install with the included template. Looks good, nice and clean looking and the hood transitions well into the stack. Fan speed is good at 450 CFM. Decent power and relatively low noise at highest fan setting.
