    Nokia Finally Arrives!!
Many of those who have used Nokia phones earlier or know about them are wanting the same quality in today’s standards. So what primarily interested me was the snapdragon 662 processor, an excellent choice over low calibre Chinese processors as well as Samsung’s good Exynos alternatives, also a good android phone with a clean android (Android One) and Nokia 5.4 suits it perfectly.ProGood build quality, and stylized polycarbonate shell along with a big battery at 4000Mah.Nokia’s camera will make photographic gadget holders happy with 48Mpx (4 bin) . The main camera is decent in speed as a 662 processor takes care of that for a regular photo as well as HDR+ shots. The camera provides quality captures with good highlight control, as can be seen on the left edge of the home stone photo attached.Night mode photography of a dim room came out quite lit, with a bit of understandable noise, normally Okay at this price point. The bokeh shots are good for portraits (didn’t upload human photos) as seen in the background of this plant. The speed of game graphics is good, anti-aliasing worked straight away with no speed damage in NFS. With my usability of limited graphics needs from a phone, it is not a major part of the decision. With no interference of useless pre-installed apps, a few do come but are uninstallable. The clean interface of android felt great to use (I am looking at you Samsung). With Android one, we will get updates for a newer version of android for a few more years.Super ergonomic design and build to hold, it felt good old Nokia and probably I won’t be putting up a cover over it unless Spigen does us a favour.A great option for a Camera quality video log is great, 60fps on FHD is also good.Last but not least it’s a good old Nokia again.ConsI think with an FHD+ resolution this would have worked out great but not a major issue for my needs.More pixels in the macro cam and 2k video would make this excellent phone.UPDATE AFTER A WEEK OF USE————-The only irritant is found in this phone is the proximity sensor which allows the screen to unlock/lock-on attending a phone call. It is haywire and causes frequent unlocks, causing drop-down icon bar items to be used unknowingly. Also, this phone comes with a screen guard preinstalled, I won’t put that as a con, majorly because I do not like screen guards but will use it until it visibly appears degraded.

    Value for money!!!
The phone is really good, I really appreciate it. I have rated this phone with 4 stars because I believe this product is value for money. The camera quality is good but a little unsaturated. The battery life is great as compared to other phones with the same bagtery size. The ram management is almost perfect and couldn’t complian about it.FYI, The screen protector was not properly applied. Here are the pros and cons that I feel about the phone.Pros :-1. Ram management2. Looks of the device.3. Speakers.4. 2 years of android updates.5. Included headphones, charger, preapplied screen guard and jelly case.6. Clean and Bloarware free UI.7. Fast charging is supported.8. Phone has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.Cons :-1. Build qulaity, it’s all plastic.2. Image processing.3. No bothie or dual sight feature, it is an iconic nokia feature.4. Headphones quality is really bad. You can only use it for office.5. Pixel density a really low.Overall the phone has minor flaws which I have mentioned above. I like the product and it is a good purchase for 14.5k..

    Phone for regular use
The phone is quite nice for regular use. I moved from Nokia 7 Plus to this for lack of mid range Nokia/other stock Android phones. Though the resolution is a bit of compromise, I’m quite happy with this for daily use (I don’t watch videos/play games). Body/build feels a downgrade from 7 Plus, but acceptable at this price point as software experience and regular security updates are the main requirements for me.Overall I’m happy with the phone.UPDATE 1: I had earlier rated this phone 5* – but downgraded to 3* now – it was going great, but after Android 11 update, the phone occasionally freezes. When the phone is not used for some time (or when the 4G/Wifi is switched off for some time) and then you enable the data/open the phone, the phone suddenly freezes for several seconds. Maybe the software is not tuned for Android 11 or my phone has a problem. In either case, this should not have happened in a Nokia phone. Disappointed.UPDATE 2: My previous update downgraded from 5* to 3*. With this update, I’m downgrading to 1*. Why? Many standard features that were in the original phone missing without any intimation! Camera app has lost a lot of original useful features. I was thinking plus point of Nokia was software. But no, even there they’ve screwed up. Sorry, no more Nokia (this coming from a hard core Nokia fan).UPDATE 3: Now it’s already mid June and the Last security update is dated 1-Mar!! The last advantage it had is lost too. I went for a Nokia for it’s software and regular security updates. But Nokia disappointed me again! DEFINITELY no more Nokia for me! Now I’m almost angry.
