Awesome model from Philips. This iron heats up very quickly and its build quality is excellent. It is a bit expensive but is fine according to its usage and features. This iron has all the features that an iron should have. Its cable length is also fine. Whatever promise the company has made with this iron, all the features are present in this iron. I am very satisfied with this purchasing. You can go for it.

A big, powerful steam iron
I bought this stream iron from Philips’ 5000 series since I was looking for an iron that would make the job effortless. Ironing is very boring and I don’t want to spend more time on it than is necessary.Be aware that it comes with a 15 amp (big) plug. The cord is about 4′ long. It is 12″ high and weighs 1.2kg, regular small irons weigh half as much.I’m pleased to report that this iron makes the chore effortless. It’s big, covers large areas quickly. It heats up rapidly. The water compartment can hold 1/2 litre , making repeated refills redundant.It decalcifies as it heats up and emits steam. I am not sure if auto de-calcification is effective.I have only used it a few times.

An average iton
Its a very average product. Steam is always released when you lift it off the cloth rather then during iron. Weight is more then my old philips careeza and performance is sub par, not effective for pure cotton fabric and over all a waste of spending extra bucks, whats the point of spending more electricity bill because of wattage if its not giving adequate results

Excellent Iron
If you’re upgrading from an ordinary iron to steam one, specially to this one, you are in for a shock to find how easy it makes the clothes ironing. Now you won’t have to worry about expensive clothes being burnt. Steam and spray both work perfectly.It heats up so fast and makes creases very easily.

If you love ironing, go for it.If you don’t like ironing, still go for it.You don’t need to pre-water-spray clothes for that laundry/dry cleaner ironing look for your clothes.Very quick heating.Larger water tank.High steam output.Overall, ironing is a pleasure for those who love ironing and less tiresome for those who hate ironing.(Personal Suggestion: I recommend good filter water in case you have a good water filter. That, I guess, will reduce the need for cleaning/de scaling. This suggestion is only personal.)

1. 45 gm per minute steam output is the best in the world.2. The sole plate of butter smooth- Steam glide plus.3. Iron is heavy which helps in ironing clothes.4. Very easy to iron cloth, wrinkles are gone with just 1 glide-on iron on it.5. Build quality is really good.Go for it.
