Great gift for kids
My 8 year old loved this as a gift. It comes with fun, neat projects and is easy enough to do herself. The cost is great for the amount of playtime.

A great intro to STEM concepts!
We had a lot of fun with this kit. I helped get things started, and my kindergartener took over and independently completed the last 19 of 21 projects. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Everything worked perfectly. It took her probably about an hour and a half to finish. I’m not sure if she will use it often, but our younger kids will, and we are definitely buying more Snap Circuit kits! We also gifted this kit to other kindergarten friends only to receive rave reviews. Great value to spark an interest in STEM. Highly recommend!

Good supplemental science activity
Purchased this set for my 7-year-old. Really appreciate how easy it is for him to follow the pictures to assemble the different projects. What would give this product 5 stars and make me super impressed would be to have a booklet that explains the science behind what he is doing as he connects different parts. Something as simple as a QR code to different YouTube videos. Iâve found plenty online that work to explain to him what heâs doing. It just adds the reason âwhyâ behind connecting up the electrical circuit.As stated, itâs a great product! With a little tweaking it could be an outstanding educational tool .

Got for my nephewâs 5th birthday. Heâs super into figuring out how things work right now (ex taking a toaster apart) so he loved this. Sounds like he was able to follow directions on his own and went through all of the activities within a few days. Would love to see an expansion pack for this age group, as the next one up is a little too advanced for him (my mom has that one).

Great product, good customer service
UPDATE:We received the requested replacement parts in the mail! There was no confirmation or notification from the seller regarding receipt of our request but the items showed up in the mail in time for Christmas stocking stuffers. THANK YOU! Kids still play with this toy and Iâve purchased a much larger set since then that they absolutely love!Bought this for our son and he absolutely LOVED it! He played with it for a few times but the light/fan stopped working consistently then a few weeks later the battery pack cover came loose and now the CD10 piece light is lose so it wonât turn on. Weâve tried contacting customer service and completed their replacement product request but with no response. Iâm not sure how best to get ahold of the replacement parts and thatâs very unfortunate bc it really is a great toy. I was planning to get the expanded sets for Christmas but given the poor or lack of customer service, will not be moving forward with that.Other than the customer service component, I would highly recommend the product as itâs a great starting point for younger minds to learn about circuits and electricity.

I bought this for my 5 year old great nephew. He loves it and has gone on from the ideas in the booklet to inventing his own. Lots of fun and learning. I just bought another one for another 5 year old.

Bought this for my 8-year-old son, he is mostly interested in his PC so bought this small set as was not sure he would be interested.It was a present from Santa so just got around to taking a look. It’s well built and the instructions are easy to follow, my son had to be prised off his PC to play with this, but did enjoy it. He was soon able to build the models and it gave him a great sense of achievement.He wants to take it to school and show his friends which is great, too early to see if his interest will last but hope it does as I like it as well and want to get bigger sets!

This was suggested as STEM gift for a 5-year old but the family of a 4-year old who enjoyed it immensely. It was well received and the kid’s younger siblings loved watching and helping put it together.
