8 GB player but available space is only 6GB
This is supposed to be 8 GB player but when connected to laptop you can see only memory of ~6gb to store your songs. DO NOT BUY the product and that too from Amazon export LLC.

I have my favorite album on the unit and use it in my car, too, and when I take my daily 2 mile walk. The battery holds up for about an hour plus but I don’t use it beyond that so I can’t say what it’s total performance is in minutes. What I can vouch for is excellent sound quality, ease of use, and compact size. It actually fits into the waistband pocket of my yoga pants. It has the features that I liked best on the smallest Apple Ipods with the benefit of a screen. Can also play radio and store images. Versatile. I had some difficulty in loading my music but figured out how to do that effectively. Very pleased with purchase.

***Review Update***Well, Ordered on October 8, 2022Was very happy as you can read below.Not even a year later, and pffffft. It’s toast.It only plays one song, and restarts.I reset the unit back to factory. Nope. I erased all the songs, restarted. Put only a couple of tunes on there. Nope. I would have thought that for $62.50, the unit would have lasted 4, or 5 years? Nope.Buy another one? Nope. -Heavy sigh- the search for a replacement begins again.Recently, my old music player (an older Galaxy S4) finally gave out.Whenever I am in my workshop I always have music playing, makes projects get done faster.I looked around to find an MP3 player that I could leave plugged in, without relying on the batteries. This unit fit the bill perfectly!The unit arrived today, and I loaded it up with my favorite MP3 files.At first I was surprised at how small the unit is, but don’t let that fool you. It packs a big sound wallop!The interface is simple and efficient in design.When plugged into a computer via usb (windows 10) the screen on the player defaults to the computer, and doesn’t let you control the player. This is for file transfer, and a good thing.When plugged into a usb wall charger the unit runs the same as on battery power.I do have an older set of (thumper) computer speakers that I use for in the workshop. they run on a standard 3mm input jack, the same size as the headphone jack that came with the unit.So, what’s my take away? Excellent! Vor Jahren hatte ich den Vorläufer dieses Produkts gekauft. Bin immer zufrieden gewesen. Jetzt müsste nach Jahren wieder ein neues Gerät her und ich habe mich wieder für Sony entschieden, weil die Qualität optimal ist und man auch Radio hören kann. Top.

I ordered this to replace an old ipod nano. I needed something for work that didn’t have a camera (which my depressingly new ipod touch has), and this seemed like a good place to start with a non apple player.I have been absolutely delighted with this thing. The sound quality is significantly better than an ipod (I’m using the same headphones) and the battery lasts freaking forever. I can listen through four eight hour shifts before it needs a charge. The interface is easy to use and straightforward, and I actually really enjoy having FM radio on the player.The only things I haven’t liked were the included earbuds, which don’t fit my ears, and Sony’s music management software (which I don’t think you have to use, but I’m weaning myself off of itunes). I really wish I had given up on apple years ago, this is so much better.
