Great Spy Gear Set, enough gear to keep the kids entertained for hours!
Well, SpyX headquarters came through with this kit for my 8 year old daughter. I see now that it has arrived that it received 2015 product of the year from Creative child magazine. This kit is great for kids with siblings as it is great to track, warn of invading siblings and listen in on [as a spy of course] your sibling. Its nice that everything fits on a spy belt via belt clips. Her favorite gadgets were the motion detector, which terrorized the dog for a couple of days until we turned it off, and the invisible ink pen. I know your thinking, invisible ink pen, there has to be a million of these, but this pen has a secret compartment that kids paper for on the fly spy notes and a ‘UV’ light to reveal the secret message you just wrote. The LED light, is a very nice laser pointer style spy light that fits over ear and was pretty entertaining. The ‘Micro Listener’ was a bit harder for her to use since the ear piece was a bit big for her ear but regardless watching her press it to the wall to spy on her brother was pretty precious. Well worth the investment. Solid Gear.

Cute Gift Idea
My five and eight-year-old love this toy. They like to pretend to be spies and makes cool sounds the sensor where they put it if itâs motion sensor or if itâs by hearing something it goes off and they think itâs really cool because I try to sneak around and hide things and pretend that theyâre spies and itâs a fun idea. The only thing is itâs all plastic and I wish it was more durable because the sensor toy it like goes off and it doesnât go off when youâre in front of it and it does sensor doesnât always pick up the movement other than that itâs a cute idea and for the value you know itâs a fun toy.

Child disappointment
Product was a bit disappointing for my 8 year old son. He was eagerly awaiting delivery but unfortunately once arrived did not match his expectations. The listening device is a waste of time and does not work as intended or what we were expecting. Next time will just go to China Mall instead of ordering all the way from the US to South Africa.

nice toy but requires close supervision
My son LOVES Spy Gear. We have purchased just about every item they make with great luck, some even more than once because they are so heavily played with and loved. My son’s favorite part of this set was the invisible ink pen. Unfortunately, within hours of receiving it, the pen went missing. We keep a clean, organized home. We have looked high and low for it in every place we can think of, even crazy places and cannot find it. Our current theory is that just moments after he last used it, some of the ink leaked out, getting on the pen itself and rendering it invisible. We are hoping Spy Gear will soon make a GPS tracking product that can be attached to something/someone the spy is tailing. This way we can track the pen even in an invisibility mishap when we purchase it again. All other items in the set are accounted for and work as described.

9 yr old with an FBI themed bday. He loved that they all go on a belt, and clip on his body. I think that is his favorite part.

Great quality fun toy
Creative fun way to get your kidâs imagination going! My daughter has had hours of fun with this toy. Highly recommend! Good quality and all the gadgets actually work really well er had fun testing them out as adults!

Very cool but dead batteries
My son just got this yesterday. It seems like a great spy kit â a little frustrating that all the batteries were dead (except for one of them). So now he canât play with them until we go find small watch batteries. Tis life I suppose.
