Great watch…….well done Amazon.
I have, up to now, six wrist watches and two pocket watches ranging from a $50 Timex for work, to a $800 Swiss Rotary (we Brits love our Rotary!!). What do I have to say about my new acquisition? My Stuhrling arrived earlier and I set it over six hours ago against my Rotary. So far so good!! I have no plans to submerge it in water, nor do I intend to have it engraved. I am not a captain of industry, and neither am I too upset if, in time, it proves to gain or lose the odd minute over a 24 hour period. My 76 year young other Rotary, passed to me from my grandfather, gains about a minute every four days, but I wouldn’t get rid of it for the world. This piece is beautiful, well constructed and a welcome addition to my collection. I would recommend this little gem to anyone who wants a beautiful timepiece, and especially at the price.Update: It’s Murphy’s Law that within an our of my review the watch jumped an hour. I called customer services, and within 18 hours a replacement arrived. This watch has been running for over 24 hours without a hitch. More interesting is that the box of the first had, embossed in gold, on its orange lid the name Stuhrling, and inside one elastic band to the right with the documents. With the new one, embossed in gold on the lid, is a quote from Max Stuhrling, and inside an extra band on the left under which is a cleaning cloth. It is logical to assume the second is a different, and more recent batch that has resolved problems encountered by previous reviewers. A hint. My gran always told me that when setting the time of a mechanical watch always do it clockwise, otherwise you are rotating the mechanism against itself. This may have an effect on the watches life and continued accuracy. P.S. Thank you Amazon, for your excellent service.

So far so good
My 14 year old asked for this for his birthday. He wanted a vintage one but we didnât want to buy him something old that would need repairs. This watch fit the bill for the aesthetic he was looking for. It was priced well and the quality of the watch is great. Sometimes he says that it ends up a few mins behind after a day but I have not verified this myself. Iâm happy with the purchase and how easy the watch is to use. The silver design is very beautiful too which just makes it look more authentic.

Keeps good tiime
Nothing feels cheap about this watch. The size is a bit smaller than my railroad pocket watch but that’s ok. I like the movement , it being an exhibition and the feel of the stem when winding. One thing to note, having a small face with roman numerals makes it harder to read and is a bit to busy.

Updated review – Unfortunately it stopped working after 3 months.
I really liked this watch. Tracks time well and looks amazing! Unfortunately it stopped working after only 3 months. I carried this watch in my pocket daily and wound it every morning. I found that it tracked time well with only minor adjustments now and again. The watch ran a little fast at times and this I feel is to be expected…Unfortunately while winding the watch as usual today the winder spun back all the way as though it had not been wound at all. The watch stopped ticking. I can wind it, but when I release the winder it spins back and the watch stops ticking.Originally I had given this watch a 5 star review, but this is not acceptable and I would give a zero star rating at this point if possible. 3 months of gentle use and daily winding and this failure is not indicative of a quality made piece.

Nice watch at a reasonable price specially given that on these days is difficult to find pocket watches and when you find them they tend to kind of expensive and not that good looking after all.

Don’t drop it…
Got this a while back. It’s difficult to see for old guys and it worked fine for a time. The problem with it, to me, was that little stand in the back. Eventually, that annoyed me and it “accidentally” broke off. Then, the other day, after never dropping it, it met concrete and stopped working. Oops. Now it’s working again, but inconsistently. It’s slow. I still like it but now I will probably retire it to my timepiece graveyard.

Its a beauty
This is a beauty. It has heft to it, like a steel watch should. Not like another quartz pocket watch I purchased earlier, which is as light as plastic.On the timegrapher it shows 21600bpm, +14s/d, 252 amplitude & 0.9ms beat error. Not a Rolex, but for 90-100 bucks, it is quite good performance. Over a day it has maintained time quite well.The seconds hand cannot be hacked. The manual winder has a stop. Power reserve is more than a day. It is a bit difficult to read the hands from like 3′ away, but not so at normal distance of a foot away (i.e. if you are carrying it in your pocket and pull it out to see the time.The Sthurling logo is applied to the underside of lens (as there is no other place to place logo) and is irritating to look at. I would rather not have it and have better view of the movement.Overall, definitely 5+ stars.

It was indeed a beautiful watch. But had to return it due to some personal reasons. Have purchased this Brand watch earlier and that too is one of theist beautiful watches possessed by us. Returning was a hassle as the seller won’t help. But amazon customer service helped us with return and refund.

I hadn’t ordered from Stuhrling before so wasn’t sure how reliable they were being based in the States, so instead of ordering from the Stuhrling website I ordered one through Amazon for a bit of added protection.It arrived on time and was well packaged. When I opened it I was surprised how plush the watch packaging was. It felt like quality. When I removed the watch, I was impressed with the weight of it. The whole thing surpassed my expectations. It’s beautiful and exceptionally well price.I wouldn’t hesitate to order from Stuhrling again.The only slight negative is not about the watch, it is about the support. I emailed Stuhrling and got a reply in good time, but I also contacted them using their WhatsApp number. That was on the 6th October 2021. My message is still sat there unread. That’s a minor thing, but if it exists it should work.
