Years of secrets kept them apart. One truth could reunite them forever.
Amelia: One moment changes everything—seeing her there, in his bed. I run, protecting my unborn child. Years pass, and I build a good life for us. Then Nathan returns…bringing with him questions I’m not ready to answer.
Nathan: The moment she vanishes, my world crumbles. Three years later, I finally find her again, only to discover I have a son—and that someone deliberately destroyed what we had. I won’t lose them twice.
A steamy second-chance romance about betrayal, secrets, and the power of true love.

beautiful
I have been really digging second chance romances lately but this one by far takes the cake and its novella length to boot! Loved the character development, the ability to condense a timeline the way the author did so seamlessly, and the two epilogues are fabulous additions. Well done!

A sweet and steamy second chance romance!
I enjoyed this sweet and steamy novella about a woman (Amelia) who thinks her boyfriend (Nathan) is cheating on her when she finds another woman in his bed. Instead of confronting Nathan about it, Amelia–shattered and pregnant with his baby–flees to Texas, where she raises their small son and becomes a successful event planner.Three years later, Nathan–the wealthy CEO of a tech company in Boston–arrives at a corporate event in Dallas, where he discovers that Amelia is in charge of planning. Sparks fly between them, because Nathan wants answers. Why did the only woman he’s ever loved just up and disappear on him with no explanation? This wouldn’t happen in real life, of course. Nathan claims that Amelia vanished “without a trace,” but he could easily have hired a private investigator to track her down. She hadn’t changed her name or gone into hiding. Even a simple online search might have done the trick. But this is fiction, after all. Just sit back and enjoy this romantic story. Will our lovers get back together? Will the perpetrator of their breakup get his just deserts?Kudos for flawless proofreading, likable characters (except for the villain), an adorable little boy, and a perfect, heartwarming ending. I look forward to reading more books by this talented author.

When giving a second chance is easy
This was an easy read. A second chance that you can just glide through. I loved Nathanâs determination to get back the love of his life. He knew what he wanted and he was willing to do anything for it. Amelia was everything I expected her to be. A true thought to âthe heart wants what the heart wantsâ. Iâm glad the story didnât take on the horrors of relationships gone wrong. It showed the villain and quickly disposed of him. If youâre looking for a soft read.. then youâve found it. Enjoy!ð

I loved this sweet romance. The romance didnât die and they found themselves again. I loved the view into the future of Amelia and Nathan. Good writer

Juvenile Writing Style – Do Not Recommend
This book shouldâve been considered a draft with many rewrites until it was published. The book was very disjointed and the storyline was not fleshed out. The characters were very one dimensional and very unrealistic. One example of a character mistake is the two year old extrapolating and saying âthere is a baby in your tummyâ when told by his mother that he is going to be a big brother. Juvenile is the description that fits perfectly. I do not recommend this book!!

great story
This was such a refreshing second Chance romance. The characters actually talk things out in an adult fashion. No prolonged back and forth. This was a nice, quick read.

It was a beautiful short story. Read it in 1 hour. The story did not go into detail with character background just told the story.

I loved the short story. I felt really peaceful after i read it. Nice and not too much unnecessary drama.

This was a lovely little novella. It created an appropriate amount of drama for its length and didnât overdo things. There was certainly plenty of room to expand the story, but it was perfectly fine as it was. All up, a very enjoyable read.
