Really like the dark face
I had the identical watch in the traditional siver & black livery since about 2017 and battery finally went out. So I started to get the same one and saw this newer all black model with dark face. It beautiful for a cheap sport watch.

An updated look to the watch every kid wanted when I was growing up (next to a calculator watch of course).Wrist band is super comfy. The watch itself is light and easy to forget it is there.Indiglo backlight makes the blackout background quite easy to read.No Bluetooth, syncing, etc. to kill the battery and your privacy.Just buy it already.

I’ve bought this watch twice now
I originally bought this watch a week before leaving for basic training. Given the price at the time (I think it was on sale) I wasn’t expecting much and thought I just need something to get me through the next few months and then I’ll upgrade if needed. Boy was I wrong. I put this thing through every field training exercise I was a part of for 5 years and it still wouldn’t quit. No amount of mud, water, ice, or sweat could stop it. Absolutely no water leaked into it. No matter what I did to this thing it was durable enough to handle it. It only stopped working when I tried to change the battery and accidentally broke it myself. I immediately bought another and fully believe it’ll last me another 5 years before the battery dies. Hopefully next time I don’t mess up changing the battery out. All in all, the value of the product for the price is incredible. It keeps time well and is very accurate and if you do need to adjust any settings or time it is very easy to accomplish. Lastly, multiple holes to accommodate multiple sizes comfortably.

Comfortable, not too hard to set time/date. Display is very hard to see because of how dark it is, indiglo is very dim. I guess I got my moneys worth but canât see it being any more expensive.

I bought this for my teenage son after smart watches were banned at school. He loves this watch and now wesrs it exclusively over his old name brand smart watch. He asked me how to charge the Timex Ironman and couldnât believe when I told him he didnât have to. : )

Perfect – if I could only see the display while swiming
I use it to time laps while swimming, with low lighting and my eyesight isn’t perfect. Under those conditions the display is totally unreadable. I can’t stop to study it, but even if I could, I couldn’t check my times on the fly. Other than that, it’s perfect. It has 2 features that are hard to find in Timex watches: First, the retainer for the band (the little loop think) stays in place, so I’m not constantly putting it back, and it allows you to pass over the Alarm and Chime modes, which I never use.

Very Good watch
The one complaint I hear most often about this watch is it is harder to see in lower lighted conditions. Yes that is true BUT IT HAS INDIGLO so It is not a problem. Most of the time you don’t need to turn the light on though. You usually can make out what it says even without the light. Usually if you can’t see it then a slight angle change and you can see the time. If you still can’t see it….it does have indiglo. It really takes no time at all to hit the button and you can see in any light condition. I have been looking at watches to buy for some time now and have looked at a lot of them. When I first got this in the mail I thought it to be small. I was comparing it to the G-shock series. The ones I was looking at the most was the XL ones. So yes it is small compared to the XL G-shocks. I have an XL watch and found that it gets in the way. When ever my wrist gets bent backwards my hand presses against the watch and restricts my movement that way. This is really the perfect size. One common complaint with Ironman’s is they have started integrating the band with the watch. So when the band breaks, which they often did, the watch was useless cause you couldn’t replace the band. This one has the replaceable band but still manages to have that integrated look, very nice. I really don’t expect the band to break any time soon though. It feels very durable and thick. One thing about the band that I really like is at the end of the band. It has two little “nubbins” that lock in the that loop that holds the excess band in. They really work well. Every watch I have ever owned that little loop moves and releases the excess and then you have to fix it. It has yet to slip off once. All in all in is very nice watch. It works well, the price is very reasonable, The band is replaceable and durable, and the blacked out look is very nice. I love this watch.

Excelente reloj si lo encuentras a un buen precio, yo lo conseguà en 746 pesos mexicanos. Tiene un aspecto táctico debido a su pantalla negativa, lo que lo hace dificil de ver en condiciones de poca luz, lo que aun es mas complicado si tienes ocupada la otra mano para activar el indigo. Tiene funciones básicas y otras que son un buen añadido si sabes sacarles provecho, como la cuenta regresiva que tiene la opción al terminar de parar o de repetir nuevamente hasta que tu la detengas. También la alarma de ocasión que te permita agregar un recordatorio para una cita al Doc, aniversario, etc. Puedes añadir la fecha y el evento, más NO la hora, pero hay una opción de recordatorio uno, dos, tres o varios dÃas antes incluyendo la hora del aviso y te lo recuerda con un pitido. Me gustó el reloj por su tono todo en color negro. Bueno solo a un buen precio. En la foto se indicó una alarma para visita al Doc para Febrero 5 del 2024 y con un aviso un dÃa ante a las 10 am.
