Best daily-wear watch I own
I have over a dozen dress and casual watches and this Timex Expedition Scout is my favorite. My husband has the black case version (much larger than this one) and he loves his too. This is a great size, lightweight, thin, and pretty to look at without being flashy. The Indiglo is nice and strong, as on my other Timex Indiglo’s (which I love!). The nylon strap that comes with this watch is beautiful and very well made. It’s also easy to change straps. I bought a dozen different colored NATO straps and I swap them out regularly on this watch and the style and design of the watch pairs well with so many different colors and patterns of strap! This is Timex quality, durability, and reliability at a pretty good price. Definitely recommend!

The Very Best Unbling Watch
Thin, light, strong. For those who think a watch shouldn’t be a giant, heavy hunk of bling, but should just fill a function instead, this one is sweat and rainproof, comfortable, not clunky, and best of all, it fits under a shirt sleeve. The face lights up with a deep red instead of white or bluish white or green, and it isn’t anywhere near as bright as others, as if to check the time while remaining concealed; that type of less bright. The band is too short to put it on over top of winter layers. If I want to do that I’ll rather one of those velcro expedition bands because they will open up further.

A solid, handsome, and comfortable watch
The watch is exactly as described. I don’t know the radius of my wrist but I’m small framed and the watch fits well. I love the olive drab color of the face and canvas band. It brings back memories of when my dad was in the army. The watch wasn’t running until I removed the plastic protector from the button. There isn’t a print instruction manual but an insert with info about the online. The watch is very straightforward, so in most cases a manual probably won’t be needed. As others have listed, to adjust the date, pull the button out halfway, and pull it all the way out to adjust the time.I noticed some of the strap notch holes didn’t seem to be punched all the way through but it was easy to do so with the fastener. I like the way the band has felt more comfortable after a few days. It also feels like it will last longer than the rubber watch straps that last for a few years.I have no issues with the clicking sound of the watch. Other than putting my ear against it, I’ve only heard it ticking in the car when I’m in it by myself. It must be a very quiet room to hear it across it.It also hasn’t been as issue for the hour and minute arms not to be light activated, but I’m not usually in situations where that would be helpful. If I wake from sleep at night, I simply press the button and I can quickly see the time with the Indiglo. I don’t need to keep it on very long to see the time, so I don’t believe the process is much of a battery drainer.I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this watch again.

Great, reliable watch
Love the look of this watch: simple to read (easy to convert to military time with the extra numbers), simple overall (no unnecessary features) look, love that there’s a date, and love that there’s indiglo night light and glow in the dark “hands.” All three hands are there: hour, minute, and second – all useful to me and my needs.Love the materials: all materials seem strong, sturdy, and durable from the watch itself to the wristband (rough and rugged but not uncomfortable). It’s a no-nonsense watch, built to accomplish its straightforward task – tell time, night or day.Get this watch if you don’t want to worry about charging your watch, or dealing with anything else but time! 🙂

Fits small wrists!
I have 5.5 inch diameter wrists that make watches shopping a nightmare most of the time, but I needed an analog watch that was very big, easy to read, would survive being left on during showers and working in heavy rain, and could light up. So far so good, and Iâm not even on the tightest hole on the straps! I love that thereâs 24 hour clock numbers and the day of the month on there too. The wrist strap doesnât hold moisture despite being fabric which is really nice since I didnât want to use silicone or metal; even showers are all good.I synced it to the atomic time so the seconds would be accurate for seizure protocol/other medical protocols and it has stayed accurate a week later! Very very happy with the price and features. Never going back to a smart watch or digital watches after having this neat little fellow.

I like this watch. It fits nice on a narrow wrist. Beautiful face and the case feels nice. The canvas band it comes with is a bit stiff, but still comfortable. The Expedition is a classic at a fantastic price.

The watch is louder than I expected. You can hear ticking sound when the room is quiet. I canât sleep while it is in the room. But on the other hand I absolutely in love with it. The right size and great look. Good for the price. The strap quality is lowOverall all give it 10 out of 10. One of the most enjoyable watches Iâve ever worn.
