I Got a Lemon
I had high hopes for this new product from Toshiba, a trusted company. However, after using it only two times to make toast, the air fryer started tripping the GFCI outlet it was plugged into, rendering it unusable. I tried every other GFCI outlet in our condo, including the bathrooms, and it did it every time. Other appliances, including our old air fryer from a different manufacturer works fine In the same kitchen outlet. Can only assume there was a fault with the Toshiba. It actually had a lot going for it : I like the size, the sleek look, the bright light inside and when it worked, the toast came out nicely. I don’t know about the other functions since I never got to try them before this unit broke down. So, since it is unusable, I am returning for a refund – am afraid to try again with another of the same. I even called Toshiba customer service to trouble shoot but got no resolution for the problem. Would love to know if others have had the same issue.
