The ultimate collection of a masterpiece of a TV series. Say: WOUlD YOu LiKE SomE COfFeE?
David Lynch’s TV epic Twin Peaks took the world by storm in the late 80s and early 90s. The mystery of the death of Laura Palmer captivated millions of viewers. Every week people watched to see Agent Dale Cooper try to solve the Palmer case. The first season was groundbreaking but the second season was a big misfire that ended the show prematurely. After the failure of the lone film: Firewalk with Me, the show vanished until 2017 when season 3 (The Return) hit Showtime and again hit a home run. The show is amazing and was arguably the most influential show of the 90s.So lets say you want to get the entire series in collection: is that possible? Yes, but with a caveat. This collection gives you all of Twin Peaks Season 1,2, and 3. Their are around 16 BR discs worth of content. Not only do you get the entire show but you get hours and hours of special features (everything from interviews, cast meetings, cast reunions, and entire history of the show, fan conventions,etc) making this the perfect package for both newbies to TP hardcore fans.That said there a few knocks about this whole package. First on the show side: yes season 2 is a notable drop in quality from season 1, its a slog to get through whereas seasons 1 and 3 are amazing and will keep you hooked from beginning to the end. Second: this IS NOT the complete franchise as Firewalk with Me (the prequel film) is not included. If you are going to want to see everything the movie ( and the Missing Pieces extra footage), you need to watch this too. Fear not, the movie is available via the Criterion Collection (with its own batch of goodies including the missing pieces which was another 90 minutes of film footage ), so you can get everything pretty easily on here if need be. Lastly, the packaging is sturdy but sometimes the discs are a little annoying to remove so be forewarned.Conclusion: If you always wanted to start the show, this collection is great. If you are still a longtime fan who wants to watch it all over again, you will be giddy over the extras alone. Welcome to Twin Peaks friend, you must try the cherry pie Norma makes. P.S If you meet a little man in a red suit dancing be sure to listen to him.

Excellent series, although the case arrived slightly damaged
I would give this a five star rating, except it arrived with a crack in the case that prevents it from latching shut. Also, one of the discs was loose and rattling around, but thatâs just due to the impractical design of the case, which many other reviewers have complained about in detail. But all my discs appear to be unscratched.I love the series itself. Itâs obligatory to mention that Season 2 has a noticeable dip in quality due to creative interference from network executives (namely Bob Iger), but Seasons 1 and 3 are very captivating from start to end. Do be aware that this collection does not include Fire Walk With Me and The Missing Pieces, which should be viewed in between Seasons 2 and 3. But Iâm happy that I can have the original series and The Return together at a reasonable price.

Some discs were loose and bouncing around in the case. Obviously repackaged . I was thinking I would watch these in the fall or winter.. But I guess I’d better view before I discover a scratched or unplayable disc. I don’t do reviews of the content. If you bought this or are thinking of buying it…. you are familiar with David Lynch. You know what to expect. In spite of the jankety packaging , all the discs played great and I highly recommend if you’re a David Lynch fan. The second season played more like a soap opera( because Lynch was filming “Wild At Heart” at the time) and seemed sometimes tedious, but Twin Peaks The Return(2017 3rd season) didn’t disappoint ! I also recommend Criterions Release of “Fire Walk With Me”.! This is a seriously dark show with a dark sense of humor . Unfortunately , I can’t look away!!!!

After a long battle, I can rest.
I had been on a big Lynch kick, working through his entire filmography. I was absolutely eager to check out Twin Peaks.The copy I received had two of Disc Eight and no Disc One. I couldn’t start the show. I ordered a replacement from Amazon and it had the exact same issue. So watch out for that.I contacted Paramount through their physical media help site to seek a replacement Disc. Dealing with all that was a bit of a fiasco, as I wasn’t sure for a while that they were even receiving my messages… and it took a little longer than I’d have liked, but Paramount shipped Disc One to me!I’m so happy! I love this weird show! I love this set! And I’m happy with Paramount’s customer service!

Great set for one of my favorite shows.
This is a great bundle at a fair price. Such a beautiful, strange, dreamy and at times dark series with so many comedic beats. I had not seen Season 3 before purchasing this, which picks up where Season 2 left off in terms of quirkiness and runs with it. Definitely a lot harder to follow than, say, Season 1, but when it hits the mark, it really shines.Casting, direction and music are superb. Story, as with many of Lynchâs projects, sort of takes a backseat to those other things and if you can accept that going into the viewing experience, you will be transported into a weird, wonderful world that is enjoyable on many different levels. Not everything is going to make sense nor does it need to. Not everything gets resolved, either. But if you are here to enjoy the ride as I was, you will be rewarded.Thereâs a ton of behind-the-scenes and other extra content for fans (some of it made by fans), all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. If you are a fan, you wonât be disappointed. It was such a joy to rewatch the original series in light of all of this additional information. The navigation menus are minor works of art in their own right, and some of them I just let play in the background for a while because they were such fitting tributes to the spirit of the show.Very pleased with this set!

El diseño es compacto, en una caja vienen todos los discos, asà que hay que maniobrarlos con cuidado. Pero está muy bien, contiene mucho material extra y la calidad de vÃdeo es buena. El único detalle es que la tercera temporada no está con subtitulos al español ni doblada. Pero bueno, esa es más fácil de ver en netflix y las demás temporadas no están en ninguna otra plataforma. Asà que es una buenÃsima colección para tenerla y poder disfrutarla siempre.La compré en hotsale y me salÃo a un súper precio! 10/10
