Good for Straight On Shots
I originally purchased this in December 2021 as a gift for a friend and then purchased one for myself the following year. I still use it. It holds up very well and is easily transportable due to its ability to fold down to a much smaller size. The remote also works well and comes in handy for various video shoots. It’s sturdy and keeps my phone stable. It also has a really firm grip on the phone, which I appreciate. It can be adjusted to various heights at several points. My only wish is that this came with an adapter of some sort that would allow it to be used for overhead shots. I have still not found a phone holder that takes adequate overhead shots. But, if you’re looking for something to assist with straight-on shots, this is a great product.

Tripod visibile in photos when using magsafe and rear camera
The quality seems fine, but the main drawback I’ve seen so far, specifically with an iPhone 16 pro, is that when using magsafe and the back camera, the camera picks up part of the tripod/mount when using the .5x or 1x lenses. Any of these photos always have part of the mount visible on one side of the photo. I assume this is due to the bottom lens being so close to the mount. You can probably work around this somewhat by using the grip mount instead of magsafe and offsetting the phone, but that was the hassle I was trying to avoid with this magsafe tripod. It seems to work fine for selfie use or anything using the front camera. I haven’t decided if it bothers me enough to return or I’ll just work around it, but I probably wouldn’t have ordered if I was aware.

Every Christmas, my husband and I take pictures in front of the christmas tree with our 3 cats, dog and bunny, but it was always a challenge to put the phone on something high enough and big enough to hold it. With this, I was able to even take a picture with my old cat whilr my husband was away because she is getting older and sicker and I wanted the most memories with her as possible. The controller is small and easy to hide and is also working really good and it’s connecting easily to the bluetooth whatever if it’s an android or Ios. The stability is also very good. I am very happy with it.
